I’ve been looking for accredited English masters/doctorate programs abroad and I can’t find much. My focus right now is American Lit, so I don’t really want to go to England, as it’ll be all focused on their own literature. I found this masters program in Madrid, based from St Louis U in Missouri. Is this a good Am Lit program? Will it be looked down upon when I apply to top-notch school for my doctorate (like Duke, Harvard, Stanford, U Penn, U Chicago, etc)? Is the campus in St Louis unbearable (I have to take summer classes there)? If anyone has first-hand experience with this campus and its reputation or has heard of it, I really would appreciate some advice on whether to consider this program… If you have attended St. Louis Madrid or know someone who has, please provide me with contact information if possible.
